Kia EV

Electric vehicles are becoming more popular with time. This is partially due to environmental concerns but also because of technology. Now that companies are finding new ways to make EVs more efficient, brands like Kia are making big plans. In fact, Kia is aiming to produce seven dedicated EV models by 2027. Kia works to eliminate the main concerns people have about EVs, including charging times and mile ranges. These new Kia vehicles will charge faster, and they’ll offer longer commutes than previous models. Kia EVs give everyone a good reason to look to the future.

The good news is that Kia is not new to the EV world. Kia’s Niro EV debuted in 2019, offering an impressive electric crossover option to the public. Kia also released the Soul EV, a small station wagon EV option, in 2015. Early on, Kia worked on making an EV option available for everyone. Now, they’re really expanding this by creating EV variants of their many beloved models and brand new ones. Their goal: become a leader in electric vehicles. From what we’ve seen, they are well-positioned to become the leading EV manufacturer.

Now’s the Best Time to Drive an EV

The truth is that EVs were much less efficient a few years back. The concept was great, but the reality was grim. EVs didn’t always have the best range, they were pretty simplistic in design and technology, and their charging times hardly made them worth it. However, that’s changing rather quickly as the world moves towards clean energy. Charging stations are more readily available than ever before, battery charging times are much shorter, and EVs look no different than their gasoline variants, and in most cases, are better than the gas-powered vehicles. Additionally, EVs now offer better acceleration and more horsepower than before. From solar-powered charging stations across the United States to companies that come and install a charging station in your own home, you’ll never be without a charge. There has never been a better time to switch to an EV.

The Kia EV: New, Used, or CPO?

Now that you’re convinced, you’re probably wondering which EV is right for you. Should you look for one that is new, used, or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO)? Here at Raceway Kia, we offer flexible options for everyone.

Let’s start with the benefits of buying a new Kia EV. If you buy new, you’re the only one putting miles on it. You’ll also have access to the latest technology and the most recent safety features. Even more, new models come backed by incredible warranties. The first is a 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty, it is followed by a 5-year/60,000-mile limited basic warranty. New Kia models also have a 5-year/100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance plan. With a new Kia EV, you can rest assured your vehicle has the best warranties behind it.

Now let’s take a look at our CPO models. Our CPO models are more affordable than buying brand new, yet they provide you with a similar experience to buying new. Kia backs these models with a 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty––this starts when the vehicle was first driven off the lot. CPO Kia models come with a 1-year/12,000-mile comprehensive platinum coverage.

Kia CPO models must be under five years old, have less than 60,000 miles on the odometer, and they must undergo a thorough 164-point inspection before we can sell them. On top of this, they come with a free CARFAX report, and any issues or recalls were addressed.

Finally, used models are still a great option if you’re looking for a more affordable vehicle. We do our best to ensure that our used models are up to par, so even if it's not a brand new or CPO model, it is still going to get you where you need to be. These are a great way to save some money while still getting a reliable vehicle.

Why Choose Raceway Kia for Your New EV

There are many reasons you should choose Raceway Kia if you’re looking at Kia EVs. First, let’s start by looking at our Three Step Referral Program. When you buy from us, and your friend or family member decides to buy from us thanks to your referral, we’ll give you $200. If you manage to refer a second friend, you’ll get $300 from us. Finally, a third friend referral will land you $400. There’s no catch to this, either. If you know someone who’s looking for a vehicle, send them our way and make some extra cash in the process.

Another reason to buy from is Raceway Fast Lane. This allows you to skip waiting times and maneuver around soccer practices and busy work schedules. Through Raceway Fast Lane, you can view our inventory, value your potential trade-in, schedule an at-home test drive, and even get pre-approved for a loan. We help make the buying and owning process even easier by giving you access to automatic payment set up, offering free shuttling when your vehicle is being serviced, and by getting most of the lengthy paperwork and processes out of the way before you come into the store.

In addition to our shuttling services, we also offer pick-up and delivery services. All you have to do is go online and schedule your servicing date. Then, we’ll head your way to pick up your Kia, get it serviced, and drop it back off without you needing to lift a finger. Lastly, if you’re not quite interested in buying from us, but you’re looking to sell, give us a call. We’ll gladly purchase your vehicle from you. And if you do want to buy from us, that’s even better as we have a $5,000 minimum trade-in allowance. We want our customers to feel like they’re getting the best deal on their end, too.

We also use and sell OEM parts rather than using aftermarket parts. OEM parts are Original Equipment Manufacturer parts, which are protected by warranty, and are guaranteed to be reliable. When you purchase aftermarket parts, you can’t always know if they’ll be a good fit or if the quality is up to par. By purchasing OEM parts from us or by bringing your vehicle to our servicing center, you’re guaranteeing that your Kia has a safer and longer future. Further, warranties will not cover vehicles that include aftermarket parts. If you’re a do-it-yourself type of driver, we totally understand and respect that. If you’re interested in visiting our serving center or ordering parts, visit our service and parts page to learn more.
